an evening with Suggs raises funds for cancer charity

An Evening with Suggs

We would like to say a very big thank you to The Gig Company for organising "an evening of frivolity and fun with Suggs and friends", which benefited Pancreatic Cancer UK, on 14th March 2013. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, income generated from the evening was just under £100,000 which is a wonderful result.
The venue (Porchester Hall in London) looked stunning and fun was had by all. After dinner, music was provided by Suggs, Jools Holland, Wilko Johnson, Glenn Tilbrook and Bo Bruce amongst others.
The evening was hosted by Phill Jupitus and a money can't buy auction and gift tree raffle completed this fabulous, unique event. Massive congratulations all-round to everyone involved!

Slip 3
Astral were selected to light the Lord Lieutenants Ball on behalf of Kent Community Foundation. The event was held on a mezzanine floor of number 3 slip, built in 1838 this immense covered slip was Europe’s largest wide span timber structure.  The project was particularly challenging since not only did we have to light the structure we also had to distribute power to two extensive heating systems since the structure below the mezzanine was open. The entire lighting systems consumed less than 13amps.
