Channel 5 announces Dallas.

The launch for channel 5 at the hospital studios went off a treat yesterday. Channel 5 announced the acquisition of Dallas for the schedule with appearances from Jessie Metcalf & Patrick Duffy along with a host of other channel 5 talent. Astral provided the lighting for the studio production & were delighted to see a full 360 degree mapping as the set design.

KERRANG! Awards and MOJO Honours List

As usual we kicked of with Kerrang! Awards and  MOJO Honours List; both at the Brewery in Chiswell Street. This year Artsfest in Canterbury really got it's wings, it's grown immeasurably since it was manned by two operators & no security. It's now a full blown closed area show with with 160 security. We were called in to help it comply to some exciting new requirements, which included: supply of all the arena fencing, site lighting & an extraordinary amount of emergency exit lights.

It was great to be back at the Guildhall again to light the Awards ceremony. We also supplied the distribution for the entire building and provided lighting systems for the after show party in the old library here's the official footage & you can See more here

the event at the Guildhall was as ever a glamorous affair with the requisite multi- millionaire attendees.
the great hall sported a huge screen truss surround supplied by Astral and dozens of Led battens & fixtures the punch was provided by Robe 1200 spots driven by an Avolites Titan touch. entertainment by Bond.
The old library was decked out in even more LEDs and a further 8 coemar moving heads.
